Thermal stresses due to long running of spark ignition engine often results in wear and tear cylinder near the top dead center (TDC). These high thermal at TDC arise temperature gradient during ignition. This situation eventually decreases life efficiency an engine. In this study, numerical analytical analysis was carried out on 1298 cc line four stroke (SI) having a power output 63 kW drop peak TDC. reduce value temperature, square pin fins were used surface wall A parametric study is performed get optimal solution for removal load The showed that with dimension 4 × mm3 along uniform spacing 2 mm provide optimum solution. It has been observed dropped down considerably from 160 °C 133 (a percentage reduction 16.87%) case as compared without fin case. Furthermore, heat transfer effectiveness calculated 3.32, whereas it 3.43. error recorded between both values limited 3.2%.
